Winterwonderland

Today as i woke up and looked out of my window, the landscape was changed in a winter wonderland.

There was a sugar-snow layer glittering in the pale morning sun. How lovely to see this brightness after the last gray days.

Because it was cold last night (-7 Celsius), there was also beautiful frost waiting to be photographed by me.

Today i tried to get pictures with new perspectives. I like to have a more artsy look on the images, like this frozen spider silk coming out from nowhere.

I love also this ice sculpture with that cute, tiny heart in the middle. This photo i have submitted in a gurushots competition to see, if it will be liked.

I take part in a few GuruShots competitions at the moment. Will one of my pictures be chosen again to be featured digitally in an exhibition? That would be great. It would be the 4. time after the exhibitions in Milano, Berlin and Strassbourg.

Sometimes,it’s good to change your perspectibe, you may find a wonderland.

Should i shoot more pictures like these? What do you think?

I have to practice even more. The pictures are not as good as i can do them. I got new ideas today, stay tuned for more to come.

Thank you so much for reading, for all the likes, votes and follows.

Thank you for stopping by,

have a great day,

Karin

  1. Hoar frost, ice and ice crystals are all great subjects on a bright, blue sky day. They can be tricky to shoot if there are a lot of reflections, but every once in a while you will get lucky. Love the one with the heart. Allan
